Crispy Bread – Chicken Schnitzel Ingredients:
2 large chicken breasts (opened thin doner kebabs)
salt – red chili powder
Crispy Bread Mortar:
1 cup of breadcrumbs or cornmeal
1 egg
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of thyme
To Fry:
little extra virgin olive oil
How to Make Crispy Bread – Chicken Schnitzel?
We cut our chicken breast meat transversely thinly.
We find salt and ground pepper.
We beat the egg for the crispy bread dough.
Add all the spices to the breadcrumbs and mix.
We dip the chicken meat into the egg first and then into the spicy mixture.
We fry both sides in very little oil with the lid of our pan closed.
We serve it when it’s warm.
