Pine nuts are a foodstuff with a high nutritional value obtained by breaking the hard shells of the pine cones of the stone pine tree. This tree, which grows in all Mediterranean countries, is a type of pine tree with a wide crown that can grow to 20 m tall in an umbrella shape. Cone production begins after the age of 20.
Arifoğlu Pine Nuts are especially used in stuffed vegetables and halva desserts. It is also recommended for some meat dishes.
Pine nuts are obtained by breaking the hard shells removed from the pine cones of the pistachio pine.
